Believing that
attraction rather than promotion is the best way to raise
awareness among substance abusers, The Mary Lind Choir, our musical ambassadors of sobriety, spearheads our
outreach program. The choir is directed by Trish
Turner
and comprised of residents and alumni of Mary Lind
Recovery Centers.
We also welcome other members of the recovery community to
participate, and to carry the message of hope and recovery
through song and fellowship. In addition to performing at
the State Capitol, the Choir takes its message directly to
the streets of Los Angeles by performing at civic functions
like the National Night Out Against Crime, the Los Angeles
Marathon, and the annual National McDonald’s Gospel Fest.
